This wedding was SO.MUCH.FUN! I am excited to share with you the moments captured during Becca and Aaran’s May wedding day at Cox Hall Gardens and Mansion in Carmel, IN. Remember that random Saturday in mid-May when it felt like winter almost? It was about 45 degrees and windy. The wedding ceremony was outside, but everyone (including the guests) were great sports. Becca and Aaran were amazing and still agreed to go around and take some wedding portraits with me and were up for all of my crazy ideas π They are dog people, like me, and I was thrilled when they asked if we could arrange some photos with their two pups, Haley and Wally. π I came prepared with treats in my pocket to get them to look at the camera (how do you think I trained my own dogs to know the command “LOOK” when we take photos?? π )
What is even more special is that Becca has 3 sisters, just like I do. So I completely understood the dynamic of these wonderful ladies. I had so much fun hanging out with their wonderful families all day! The day started at Becca’s parents’ house where they all got ready together. Enjoy this beautiful wedding full of beautiful people (and pups)!
I loved these photos on the dresser and nightstand in her parents room, where they were getting ready π A wedding photo of her parents and the cutout of her dad and his 4 daughters. So cute!Becca, you are stunning!Β Captured mom smiling while ironing Becca’s pashmina π
Wally and Haley’s “outfits” and accessories for the special day!Isn’t her dress GORGEOUS?!Β Time for the first look…Ok so Becca’s mom had this PERFECT long, white coat that Becca wore throughout the afternoon as we were going around taking photos. Isn’t it beautiful and SO perfect?!Β It was extremely windy this day, and I could not love Haley’s ears more. I laughed for a long time while editing this series of photos. You’re the cutest, Haley!Aren’t these two just adorable?! <3Β Becca’s parents are the cutest and so kind. I loved spending time with them throughout the day! They have a tradition of a big family hug with all 4 daughters. I love this!Β Stellar effort, Aaran πΒ Becca and Aaran’s friends were so much fun!At the end of the cloudy, cold day…we managed to luck out with a sliver of a sunset πΒ Time to dance!I love this image below. Her grandmother watching their first dance with the sweetest smile on her face πΒ Father of the bride and father of the groom.Didn’t I tell you they were the sweetest?! I love capturing candid moments πSister and brother. It doesn’t matter how old you are, bunny ears are always funny to your siblings π
This was at the end of the wedding reception. They are the cutest married couple! π
Becca, Aaran and family – thank you so much for asking me to capture your special day and memories. I had an amazing time and feel so blessed to have the privilege of working with such wonderful people like you.
With love,
Mallory
