One of our most frequent flyers at Malmo Photography is up on the blog and as always, never disappoint! We haven’t seen this bunch since Cameron’s newborn session, and now he is ONE! Cameron and Teddy were born on the same day, exactly two years apart. So, we were also celebrating Teddy’s 3rd birthday π Lisa and Jeremiah invited us into their home on a beautiful fall day where we captured what we call more of a lifestyle session. We shot all photos in their home and yard and captured the boys in their natural element as much as possible. As you will quickly see, Teddy is very into football these days π And later, Cameron enjoys his “cake smash” in celebration of his first birthday! **Warning – this post is a little longer than usual because I just couldn’t narrow them down anymore! Lifestyle sessions and images are some of my favorite to capture π So, sit back, relax and enjoy this family and the cutest red-headed birthday twins…. π
That face doesn’t say mischief…does it?! πAfter a couple shots in the backyard, we went out to the front yard where Teddy wanted to play football!Β Cameron <3Β Both of these images melt.my.heart π <3If you didn’t already know, I love to capture, keep and post some of the more “real” photos. These two may not be perfectly posed, but I think they are important to capture just as much as the posed ones. πΒ I usually (ok, never) post the same photo side-by-side with the color and BW version, but I love BOTH of these versions of this photo! First time for everything, right?Outfit change for Teddy. He decided he should be wearing his football jersey since we were playing football…duh πLisa’s parents, Teddy and Cameron’s Poppop and Mare Mare, were in town and were able to play jump into the game, too!I’ve said it before — snack time with littles ones is crucial to making it through a session! It’s cake smash time for Cameron!Β I just love the expressions I capture during baby’s first cupcake/cake smash π π πSeriously, how cute are these?! Half of the cupcake ended up in his lap, by the way (for a second we thought he devoured the entire thing!)While Cameron was getting a quick bath after the cake smash, we went out front to capture some of just mom and dad πΒ You may remember this red tractor…it is, of course, still around and the boys love playing with it. Teddy brought it out and decided it wasn’t running correctly. So he had to fix it…The tongue…means Teddy is serious business (football, fixing his tractor, etc) πΒ Ah! Both of these boys have the most beautiful eyelashes!Β Teddy finally went into the garage and grabbed some duct tape…because “it fixes everything!” π Haha I love it, Teddy!Thank you SO much, Lisa, Jeremiah, Teddy and Cameron for inviting us into your home to spend some time with you! We always love hanging out with you and can’t believe how big the boys are getting! I love watching their personalities come out π
With love,
Mallory & Colin
