I am thrilled to be sharing this very special Indianapolis spring wedding with you today! I’ve known Austin and Hannah for many years and have literally seen them grow into the beautiful couple that they are today. I feel kind of old, as I captured Austin’s senior photos back in the day, and have also had the privilege to get together with their whole family for one of the most fun family sessions I’ve ever done. Hannah and Austin (and their dog, Chief) and I had a great time capturing their engagement photos last fall as well! To say I was excited for this wedding was an understatement.
I tell you all of this because I don’t do a lot of wedding photography. It is not my main focus, I don’t advertise or market for it, and I am very selective with what weddings and couples I choose to work with. This couple and family is very special and I could not have been more honored to be asked to capture their special day. Enjoy this story below of Austin and Hannah’s wedding day!
They chose to purchase the heirloom package with all of the digital images and those come on a USB drive in this cute little wood box! π Crystal USB drive in a custom engraved wood box for safe keeping.STUNNING….her dress was STUNNING!Austin’s mom owns a jewelry business (www.sheasdiamonds.com) and so all of the jewelry was provided by her (including the custom engagement ring that Austin designed for Hannah!)If that isn’t a good looking bridal party! That there is Nolan. Austin’s youngest brother who is 14 years old. Keep an eye on him throughout these photos… ππWe had a BEAUTIFUL spring day!!These guys had a tough time with the “serious” look πAll of the men in the wedding party AND family were wearing these socks in honor of Austin’s uncle Lewis who passed away from brain cancer and his Uncle Mark who is battling esophageal cancer ππOk, this was hilarious! The runner would NOT unroll easily. These poor guys had to literally hand roll it (slowly) all the way down the aisle!! ππMY FAVORITE: when the groom sees the bride for the first time coming down the aisle. πRemember when I said to watch Nolan? Prayer is a good time to check your watch… “How much longer til dinner?!” π€£π€£π€£OH to be 14 years old…I sent this photo to Nolan’s mom when I was editing and her response was, “I’m going to kill him! He is going to be evicted from family photos!” π€£π€£π€£π€£ I asked her if she wanted me to edit it out and she said to keep it as a copy (one edited out and one like this) so that they can have this as a reminder of his age π€£Aren’t they BEAUTIFUL?!?! ππ

So Hannah’s mom is an ARTIST! She created this amazing flower backdrop by hand, out of paper! πEach table number had photos of both Hannah and Austin at that corresponding age. How FUN is that?! (I spy a Malmo Photography senior portrait on the right of age 17 π)Austin’s older brother during his speech, “I’m so glad Austin has Hannah. Can you imagine this kid on Tinder?!” π€£Austin’s mom, Reashea, has a beautiful singing voice and she surprised him with recording the song to their first danceβ€οΈβ€οΈThe mother-of-the-bride and gifted artist who created this photo wall!! I had to get a photo in front of the wall, too!
