Capturing 1st birthday’s are one of my favorite things to do — there is so much chaos involved and I love being able to capture every detail for the parents who can’t both enjoy the party for their child AND take photos to document the occasion. This one is extra special as baby Blake is the daughter of one of my dear college friends, Jen and her husband, Taylor. They currently live in Long Beach, California, but came back to the Indy area (Fort Wayne) to celebrate with their closest family and friends who traveled hours to be in attendance. It was a beautiful summer day and Jen and Taylor requested that everyone wear their bestย red, white and blue gear (party and Blake’s birthday is July 1st). Blake is one of the cutest, chillest, expressive babies and I had so much fun capturing her special day!ย
