I have never been as excited for a maternity session! Maybe because this one is of my sister, Lindsey, and brother-in-law Mike. Baby Graham (their last name, not the baby’s first name ;-)) is due on October 29 and I could not be more excited to become Auntie Malmo π π You may remember them from the blog from a couple years ago when I captured their engagement session. They are not finding out the gender ahead of time, so we are all taking bets. The odds say “girl” (Lindsey and I have two younger sisters, no brothers) and Mike has two sisters. HOWEVER — we are all guessing a boy! π Being the sister/photographer, Lindsey and Mike have asked me to be in the delivery room to capture the whole birth day and I could not be more honored. So, stay tuned for that coming soon π
Ok ok…enough chattering from the crazy-excited Auntie. We had a BEAUTIFUL fall evening to capture this and a PERFECT golden hour sunset. Keep scrolling and you will see what I am talking about πSide note: when I set up this pose, I asked her where her wedding rings were…I guess things get a little puffy when you are pregnant and it no longer fits πΒ Is she not the most beautiful mama-to-be?! πΒ Quick as a Cricket was one of our favorite books growing up that our mom read to us. πBecause she is my sister…I am sharing this image because it is REAL. The struggle is real lol. Lindsey was determined to wear her favorite fall boots in her second outfit. The loving husband that Mike is helped her squeeze her swollen feet into these boots. Lol. It takes teamwork people πHere comes that golden hour perfection…Seriously, I get so giddy when the light is absolutely perfect like this <3Β Kisses for Baby Graham! xoxoIn their pregnancy announcement photos, we used these red Chuck Taylor’s. Lindsey and Mike are big, BIG IU fans so these shoes will accompany the bajillion IU onsies, bibs, socks etc πLove the photo on the left…comfort in your husband’s arms. The photo on the right: is a shoutout to our sister, Olivia, who poses like this A LOT in her photos with her new friends at her freshman year at Ole Miss π Lol We can’t resist.Β I can’t choose a favorite from this session, but this is on the top of the list! π <3Thanks seester and Mike for being up for my crazy ideas (and also trudging through a field to get the best spot!) I cannot wait to meet my niece or nephew in just a handful of weeks!!! You know I will have lots of photos of him/her π Stay tuned for the birth day photography of Baby Graham π
With love,
Auntie Malmo
