I can’t believe Chloe is already 1 year old! You probably recognize this family by now, as this is their 3rd appearance on the blog (family portraits in October 2012 & Christmas extended family photos). It is always so much fun photographing this family because, well, they are my family! Jenny reached out to me a few months before Chloe’s birthday and already had so many creative ideas for the party. She wanted it to be a “Photo” theme and have a photo booth, lots of photos of Chloe included in decorations, disposable cameras and a personalized photo frame holder as gifts for the guests, and of course, a photographer! Obviously I was just as excited as she was. πThere was a photo for each month of her first year – how cute! The personalized photo “frame” blocks as gifts for each child guest that came to the party. This is Madison and Taylor, Chloe’s cousins, enjoying some fun in the back yard!Cole waiting oh-so-patiently for the nice man to blow up the bounce house and get the bubble machine working. Meanwhile, everyone else decides to decorate their photo blocks while they wait!Woo hoo! Bounce house = pure joy for kiddos. π“Daddy get me out of here!” Hello there beautiful π Family portrait at the photo booth! It doesn’t get much cuter than that folks.“I really am ONE year old today big brother!”Barefoot in the grass and lots of bubbles – nothing better!I love this image. One of my favorites – just precious!4 generations – Nana (great-nana), Mimi (grandma), Chloe’s Aunt Jamie and Chloe! How many grandmas do you know that would get INTO the bounce house with her grandkids?! Not very many I can assure you! These kids will remember this moment for the rest of their lives. So much fun!Jenny’s brother and his beautiful family. It’s cupcake time! Time to get dressed (or undressed π ) for the main event.I mean, seriously…how cute are her little bloomers for under her dress?! The BIG cupcake just for Chloe π“Come on people! I’m ready for my cupcake!”Both of these are priceless. Chloe telling everyone how old she is…and then once she is given the cupcake, she’s not sure what to do with it!So, mom helps out to show her the sugar awesome-ness…I think I’ll just play with it instead of eat it…These sisters were just darling. The youngest make me giggle. Every time I would hold up the camera and tell her to “cheese” she would gladly smile, but as instinct would close her eyes. I was laughing and asked her dad why she does that and he said that whenever they take photos, the flash always goes off and hurts her eyes so she has learned to always shut her eyes when getting her picture taken! π Cousin fun in the bounce house! If you recal
l their dog Jade, from their first family session, here she is again. Dear Jade is getting older, and has pretty much lost all of her hearing but is still sweet as ever. The final photo of all of the kiddos that attended Chloe’s party! This was also the image that Jenny printed off at the end for everyone to place into their photo blocks that they personalized at the party. How perfect is that?!Thanks Chloe for letting me be a part of your special day and capture some memories!
Cheers!
